An interesting article was released a few days ago about the hedge fund offer to take over Novell (the makers of OpenSUSE Linux) with the view to dismantling the company.

The twist is that the biggest loser to the demise of Novell (an open-source company) is Microsoft, and thus Microsoft may consider purchasing Novell instead? Interesting times…
